"I want to thank ABA for giving me a change and letting me in the academy this late in the year. Also, for letting me play and train when I didn’t even go to ABA yet. Thank you for helping me get exposure by playing in big tournaments and getting us the best training to prepare us for high school. I’m grateful for this opportunity. A lot of kids don’t get this."

"Thank you ABA for everything that you’ve done for me. Every time I’m here you guys
always expect the best from me and push me to be my best. This school year has been
amazing, and the people and relationships I’ve made along the way have been even better. I’ve
met people that I will have lifetime friendships with. Everyday is something new and you guys
make sure all of us give our max e

things I'v learned I will use in the real world. Thank you ABA."

"I want to share some things that were given to me while I was at ABA that prepared me
and my perspective as I got ready for high school. First, be grateful that you’re in this situation,
not every kid gets this opportunity. ABA really prepared me as a player and as a person, and
their guidance doesn’t stop when you graduate from ABA. They know what they’re talking
about, so keep pushing, keep working and trust the process. Appreciate it. I had a lot of fun
here. When situations go left, I know I have a foundation to fall on."
Current: Homewood-Flossmoor High School
Accomplishment: CIF-State Regional Championship

"Enjoy and cherish your time at ABA. I wish everyday that I could come back. Don’t
cheat your time here. Everything you put into it is going to be what you get out of it.
High school is a real everyday thing. 6am workouts. 6/7 classes a day. Come back after school
for practice. You’re going to grow to love it, but you have to learn how to build a schedule and
stick to it. But, this is what ABA prepares you to do now. Practice, workout, classwork, film...
being at ABA definitely put me ahead of the curve. All the values they teach at ABA, they
translate."
Current: Pacifica Christian School
Accomplishment: CIF-State Regional Championship

"Thank you ABA for believing in me, and giving me the opportunity to become a better
person, and a better basketball player. Thank you for laughing with me, working with me, and
showing me how to bump these little bodies out of the way. You guys weren’t necessarily hard
on me, but you guys expected great things of me, and I appreciate that. Thank you ABA!"
Current: Lindenwood University
Accomplishments: 3X MSHSAA District Champion; 2x MSHSSA State Champion; McDonald’s
All-American Nominee

"Thank you ABA for the opportunity to focus on basketball and not get distracted with
other things. Also, thank you for helping to make me a better student. I was able to practice time
management and it taught me to grow up. I thought moving down to LA would take me out of
the mindset, but if anything, ABA helped me by encouraging me to thrive and do more."
Current: Philadelphia 76ers
Accomplishments: 3x CIF Southern Section Champion; CIF State Regional Champion; CIF
State Champion; McDonald’s All-American; 2x California Gatorade Player of the Year

"I appreciate all the things you guys have done for me. You guys have become my
family, and ABA Academy will always be a second home to me. I am very grateful for the
wellness days and training sessions. These made me grow as a person and as an athlete. I am
also grateful for my mentors and trainers supporting me 100% and going “Above and Beyond.”"

"I was a leader when I was here. I held myself to high expectations. ABA helped me
realize that I’m more than just a basketball player, and helped me see the importance of not
making basketball my whole identity. Because of that perspective, I’m now studying
neuroscience, the brain and the nervous system, with hopes to become a doctor. My ABA
family has been cheering for my new pursuit, which has boosted my confidence to keep doing
what I’m doing. It’s been nothing but love."
Current: Santa Monica College.
